The concept of The Fallen Brewery was born out of co-owner Nathan Manese's military service with the 160th SOAR and the desire to pay respects to those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice. Our brewery has also been built to honor the men and women who serve our country and the communities we live in. It is a place for family, friends, and strangers to become friends. Our long, Viking style tables inside our brewery are designed to encourage conversation and to sit among people you may not know. The dream of this brewery began in 2013 and has been a passion project to bring it to fruition since 2018. Our brewery will focus on clean, classic style brews up front and work towards adding specialty brews as we grow. We won't sacrifice quality or consistency for the sake of having another brew on tap. If there is a beer temporarily off tap, please know we are perfecting it and refuse to serve any beer not up to our standards.
The brewery was founded and is operated by Nathan and Heather Manese. Nate has experience working as a volunteer firefighter before joining the military. He medically retired from the military in 2018 and immediately shifted focus to fulfilling his dream of opening the brewery. Nate began creating his own homebrew recipes over 12 years ago and has perfected them over time. Heather earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, has over ten years experience as a freelance writer for various publications, and is the current publisher of the Neighbors of East Clarksville magazine. She has been homebrewing alongside Nate for the past few years and creates recipes for brews that you will also find in the brewery. For over four and half years, they also owned and operated The Grog Home Brewing Supplies until July 2022. They are parents to five children who keep them exceptionally busy but always remain the top priorities in their lives.
"We are proud that each of our beers has a special meaning and name behind it that reflects the importance of family and patriotism in our lives. We do what we do with the support from people like you. So let's raise our glasses, remember the fallen, and cheers to freedom. Every Day, We Remember."
Our brewery is family friendly! We welcome families to come enjoy the lively atmosphere we have to offer. We have board games, card games, and a custom set of corn hole boards for everyone to use. We also have non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase. We just give a friendly reminder that children must be supervised at all times during your visit to the brewery.
Dogs are welcome to come hang out, too! We ask that dogs are kept on leashes at all times and please clean up after them. We love dogs as much as everyone else. We just ask you to please be mindful of other guests in the brewery.
Our goal is to support local by inviting food trucks to be with us on certain nights of the week. Please check our Food Truck Schedule link at the top of the page. While it may not be possible every week to have a food truck on site, guests are always welcome to bring in their own food or have food delivered to enjoy at the brewery.
Our original business plan (first created in 2014) was founded on the premise of giving back to our Military and First Responder communities by donating a portion of proceeds to various hand picked organizations. As of today, we have given a portion of our proceeds to the SGT Justin Norton Memorial Scholarship, Forgotten Coast K9, and supported fellow local small businesses and organizations. We have also proudly hosted events for the Montgomery County Veterans Coalition, Operation Stand Down TN, private military events, as well as Business After Hours for the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce.
Are you in need of a great location for your next event? We have ample space and seating to comfortably host your big event. We can take requests to reserve a small portion of seating or we can accommodate using our entire facility. We can host events on non-regular business days, assist in arranging for a food truck, or catering as well. Contact us for more details.
Our Current Tap List as of 3/7/2023
First In, Last Out. Our hefeweizen is a respectful nod to fearless firefighters everywhere. We are proud to serve a hefeweizen that is a true German style recipe. It has been perfected over the years to bring that beautiful balance of banana and clove that you would expect from a true hefeweizen. It is also served in a traditional wheat beer vase. FILO can be served from the tap or traditionally from a properly poured bottle.
Our brewery is a 160th SOAR(A) Veteran Owned establishment and this beer is named in honor of that Regiment. This brew has a subtle sweetness and chocolate notes that balance perfectly with light roasted notes in the background. It is a medium body beer you can enjoy year round.
*Will return 5/5/23* Our brewery is a proud representation and reflection of what is important to us. One of those being the importance of family. This brew is a Mexican style inspired light amber. It features light hints of caramel and a light lime flavor. It is named in honor of the grandfather of our co-owner, Heather. He passed away in 2018 and this beer was created in his memory shortly after. Enjoy a pint of this with a lime wedge.
Our house ale is designed to be that easy drinking brew. Perfect for those who want a lighter beer but not light on flavor. Whether you're enjoying it on a hot summer day or on a crisp, cold day, it can be your go-to brew that you want to have. Light citrus notes balance with a malt background to make this a well rounded beer everyone is sure to enjoy.
This wheat base beer has a subtle yet refreshing blackberry flavor that will make you want more. Light on the ABV but not on flavor. This was originally created to rotate flavors through the seasons, however, due to popular demand, the blackberry will remain. It has quickly become a bestseller.
This is a delicious double NEIPA with a sweet, tropical fruit aroma and flavor that comes from Idaho Gem, Eclipse, and El Dorado hops. It finishes slightly dry on the palate. Its beautiful golden hazy color compliments this beer perfectly. This is an 6.9% ABV brew that doesn't drink like it.
*Temporarily Off Tap* Named in honor of EOD, The Long Walk is a traditional English Brown Ale with a medium - light body with a balance of malty sweetness. It has notes of caramel and subtle notes of toffee and light chocolate to round out this easy drinking ale.
Simple, crushable, light craft beer. Made from a single malt and single hop, hence the name.
Our fan favorite from last year has returned! This Irish Red is malty, with slight caramel notes. It is released here at the brewery on St. Patrick's Day and will remain on tap until its out for the season.
GONE FOR THE SEASON! See you this summer!
This brew will be back during Oktoberfest 2023!
